Description of Macready and Kean the elder [manuscript], 1875.

A brief autograph statement, signed R.C. Lucas. Indicates that Macready was "excellent and all his accessories skilfully arranged" but that he never forgot that it was Macready. By contrast, Lucas says that Kean the elder never made him think on the man because of "his power of bringing the character before you."
